Established in 2016, The African is a non-profit organization headquartered in Columbus, Ohio that draws resources from the synergy of all African Professionals in the Diaspora, to instill ethical consciousness and civic responsibility that will enhance the socio-economic advancement of African Diaspora.

The African’s Mission is to educate, support, and advocate for the well-being of the community. We seek a thriving community united to celebrate culture and promote civic engagement to advance the Lives of African Diaspora in Central Ohio

- To create and nurture our unique and socio-cultural links and strengthen the community through Arts and Cultural Activities thereby expanding international understanding, cultural enrichment and to provide opportunities for the exchange of artistic talents.
